A buddy of mine was in town visiting for a work trip and we decided to get together for some old time gaming. I got a couple of other buddies to join in and set up a game at my place. We decided to go with French and Indian War, as a couple of them wanted to try out the Rebels and Patriots rules. Well, that made it easy for me!

I set up the board with an Indian village in the center, with the intent of doing the Enemy of my Enemy scenario. I surrounded the village with some forest and through out some scatter terrain. Both sides would approach the village and try to get the Indians to join them.

Points would be awarded based on casualties caused and received. In addition, there were bonuses for talking to the Indians and having them join you.

We got into it with both sides making a direct line for the village. The British tried a pincer, while the French went up the middle. The French won the approach and got the villagers to join them.

The British pincer broke down, as the French were able to mass from their central position and use the village to block a lot of the British fire.

The British tried to counter attack and had some initial success, but they stalled out as the French maneuverability was too much for them to handle.

The game ended after ten turns with a French victory over the british of 3-1.
