With Omega squad out of the way, I pulled out the original set I had of commandos. I had sprayed these white, so it was time to work them up and get them table ready.

I was going to keep these generic and maybe use them as Foxtrot group, once I paint up Captain Gregor. I started with giving al the models a contest white wash. I wanted a slight mottled gray armor effect, so I used Vallejo Gray White as a heavy drybrush for the armor.

I then painted all the black underclothes with contrast black. I added a bit to the lower levels of the visor glass and to all the weapons. Next, I fixed any overpainting with more gray white. I then drybrushed white to catch all the raised areas and edges on the armor.

Next I worked the visor glass with some medium blue, followed by light blue higher and white at the top. I applied a blue glaze over all the glass. Next I applied a heavy London Gray drybrush over the weapons to lighten them up a bit from black.

I finished by hitting the bases with Agrarian Earth from GW for cradle effect. I drybrushed that with Vallejo Iraqi Sand and attached some spiky tufts from Gamers Grass. I finished up with a dark brown on the base rim and a spray of Tamiya Mat coating.

With that, I have two squads of Commandos out of the way. I just need to finished Delta Squad and I will have all the commandos I could possibly want!
