Armorcast Miniatures makes a large selection of fantasy and Sci Fi terrain and conversion bits for miniatures. I dug these up in one of my boxes (probably bought them twenty years ago!) of unpainted miniatures and pulled them out recently to work on as part of my Egyptian Terrain during lock down. Due to the design of these models, they can easily. be used for Sci Fi, fantasy or pulp gaming.
The miniature is made of easily cleanable light tan resin. All pieces are single mold models with details on all upper sides. The details on the model is very fine and provides great relief for painting. These are all single piece casts, with no cleanup required.
The models are an easy paint project. I hit mine with Krylon camo tan, followed by a brown wash and two lighter shades of tan dry brushes. Once the model was painted, I hit it with dull coat and now have another piece for my desert pulp terrain board.
Overall, pricing is good and the detail of the kits is fantastic. Being resin, some care needed to be taken with storage and handling. Being large solid pieces, they are a little on the heavy side (one of the prices of resin). In the end, they do provide a nice looking set and I will be happy with them on my table.
