Crescent Root has added a new 6mm line to their offerings. The new set is a series of factory buildings, that allow a full complex to be set up in 6mm.
The models are all solid stand alone models. All are done as fully painted single 3d print models. I assume these are targeting six and ten millimeter 20th century gamers. All are nicely done and affordable. Frankly, the painting level is quite superb. If you did not know from the text, the photos could easily be confused with larger scale buildings.
I liked what I saw online and ordered a few of the smaller structures. The larger ones look nice online, but had too big of a foot print for my needs. I want these more for random buildings for larger 15mm mass army gaming and maybe for the occasional micro armor game.
The buildings are very nice, with great looking brickwork. I found the roof areas to be a bit too light, compared to my exiting buildings, so I decided to pimp them up a bit. I covered all the gray tile areas with a black wash. I then drybrushed those areas with some blue gray. A couple of minutes of extra work, but they will fit in better with my existing buildings collection!
A nice set, if you are looking for your own 6mm factory complex!
