It has been long known that the famed Naka Valley in Burma holds large numbers of the rare blue emeralds. Just one of these stones can set a man up for life. The northern tribes protect these lands from outside interlopers. That, and the rumors of great spirits generally keep the land free of foreigners. For the first time, the Raj has extended licenses to various universities to explore and map the great temples. Not many have answered, but a few intrepid adventurers have taken the call at this great archeology opportunity. Who will notice a few gems might go missing…..

I set up the table using my temple terrain. I added my new arch to the mix. I put a few trees and bushes around the edges to fill in the table. each player would start from the long side of the table.

I laid out the objectives. The player models would have to pass a pluck test to uncover the marker. On a one through five, they would discover D3 Gems. On a roll of six through ten, they would find D3 giant vipers. Players would get points from each gem and taking out the opponents heroes (models with the hero trait). Whenever a model would go down, they would drop their gems and would have to take an action to pick them up. The winner would be the one with the most points at the end of the game.

It has been a while since I ran this game, so I do not actually remember what happened! It does not help that I did not take overhead shots! It ended up being a one sided affair, as one player kept finding the gems and the other the serpents! So, the game ended after six turns, with one side running off with their pockets full and the other looking for snake bite its!
