So, still clearing out my backlog of basing work… I am working hard to clear everything up! Well, it is somewhat embarrassing to say, but I totally forgot that I had a US Airborne company to finish… I had picked these guys up and packed up the bags when I was having some work done on my basement and totally forgot I had them! At least I did not duplicate buy them!

They are sone in the late war green uniform. So they are good for Bulge and later, for the most part. One regiment in Market Garden also had them, so that can work for the right fights around Nijmegen.

I decided to go with a healthy European soil look, so I went with the same coloration that I used with my 1940 French. It is a mix of Muddy Paw tan and gray, with an equal mix of dark brown sand. Medium each on the edges, with flock and tufts to wrap up the basing.

The models themselves were done quite nicely. However, I did have to go back and touch up all the machine-guns. They were all painted green… So, I hit those and the other open weapon barrels with some contrast black. Nothing else was really needed.

With that, I think I have this unit mostly covered…. I say mostly, as I do not have any ATGs or artillery…. So, I will need to do something about that at some point…. In the meantime, I am ready for the next air drop!
