Over the holidays, I ordered a number of hobby miniatures and terrain for myself. I decided I needed a few small scale buildings for mass battles gaming, so I hit the Total Battle Miniatures site. I have a decent number of buildings from them and figured a few more would be nice!

I normally buy unpainted miniatures, as painting terrain is somewhat relaxing and easy to do. However, looking at my pile of shame, I figured maybe some painted buildings would be more appropriate.

While going over the site, I saw the 15mm farm in their skirmish line of buildings. I have a number of 15mm buildings for FOW, but no actual farms. The price is a little steep, compared to the unpainted mini, but I figured wha the heck.

All their painted buildings are done to order, so I had to wait about six weeks before I received the buildings. It finally arrived and I unwrapped it (everything was bubble wrapped). I looked it over and took a few pictures.

The complex comes in two sections. Each section has a base and a removable roof section. Perfect for FOW! The buildings are made of resin, like all their stuff. My only complaint is that one of the buildings has battle damage. I was not looking closely enough and did not see it in the picture (it is clearly there). I guess I will need to print up a poster ad and cover it up!

I think the painting is done well and will be happy to get this on the tabletop. Maybe I could use a few more…..

I have a mill ? No wheel though it’s 15mm was supplied painted – in fact I bought it at a uk show. It’s one of my favourite buildings to go on a game table
My mistake it was the big battalions 15mm schloss!!!!
Have you painted up any 3D print buildings? I’ve painted a few one recently, and some resin ones too. Musket Miniatures (not great delivery time), Old Glory (cheaper, but quality not the best), and others.
