I’ve been on the lookout for a few units to fill out some of my Napoleonic Wars BBB armies in 15 mm. Spending a little time on the eBay and going to them figure sale at another gamers house. I’ve managed to fill in a number of holes.

Most of the figures are paying up to a nice standard, and didn’t really need much if any work. If you need a little bit of touchup from little too much use, others just had to have some slight adjustments to coloration or some other details. A couple needed some paper flags.

All the figures came on various types of facings whatever the original painter put on them even based a couple times on top of one another. So, all I really need to do is remove them from their basing, clean up some of the excess different colored, flocking our ballast, and then attach them to my normal bases.

For Napoleonics, I use the old napoleons battles basing system for infantry. This is a three-quarter inch wide by 1 inch deep base and for cavalry. It is a 1″ x 1″ base. All my bases are white and metal. It’s a system I’ve been using for many many years so I can’t keep with it because I want all my stuff to match I spray the base is green and then just glue the figures down using white glue. Once it’s all dry, I go back and paint each of the bases with you, have a screen and then dump it into a tub of flocking. All my flocking is Woodland, Scenics standard flocking. Once the pain is dry, I didn’t seal everything in with a spray of dog coat. Any areas that need to be re-shined, I’ll just brush on some gloss coat.

in my search, I was able to find two units of Russian Uhlans, two units of 1815 Dutch Calvary, a Dutch infantry unit a French light infantry unit and two units of 1815 British Dragoons. Now all I need is a couple of units of Russian hussars, and I’ll be done with all my collecting for these armies!
