With the new Pacific book out, I have been focusing on finishing up a lot of my Pacific forces to get ready for our switch to this theater later this summer. I had picked up some Old Glory HMGs last year (before Battlefront re-released their Japanese infantry. So, I pulled them out.

I also ordered some resin 75mm AA guns over Christmas to add to the force. Ironically, these are now an option for Japanese Naval infantry as a support option and I have Japanese Nave Infantry! These are from Butlers Printed models.

I did not need twelve MGs, but that is what came in the set, so they all got painted up. I have locked in on using Krylon camo tan for my equipment, as a base and washing it and hitting it with Tamiya Dark Tan. I stated off a little different with some of my other stuff, but think this works. I still have some armored cars and soft skins that I think I will go this route with, once I get back to vehicles….

The basing is the same as my other Japanese forces and newly completed bunkers. It is amazing how many tufts one uses when going with this approach! I actually ran out and had to go to my FLGS had buy what they had in stock to finish up.

I just noticed while putting this post together, I did not actually finish painting my MG tripods, guess I better get to that… So, I cannot go with my normal soliloquy, as I have one more task!
