This is another case where I had one plane and had to get a second to fill out the set. This one took a bit of time to find, as I did not want to pay the posted prices. I finally got one on eBay for a good price ($12) and it arrived, so I could get these done.

These were pretty well done, so the work was not too difficult. I hit the bottoms with light gray to lighten them up. I also hit the green areas with some dry brushing to get rid of some light blotching and a heavier coat to paint out the side fuselage roundels (they both had a strange layout) and canopy age work. I hit the vents an d exhaust with black. The white banding needed some brightening, so I did that. I also brighten up the wing roundels and tail bands with red and blue. I finished up by painting the spinners blue, to match the squadron marking units I had.

Next, I added the decals to the fuselage to show the proper side roundels and plane/squadron markings. I sealed everything up by spraying Krylon Matt finish on the models. The last step, as usual, was hitting the canopy glass with gloss paint to wrap things up! This should be the last of my western allied aircraft! Now I just need to get to those winter planes I have been thinking about!
