I pulled out the next pair of planes to work on. These were my French MS-406s. I had done some work on one of these some years back. Now I had the second one, so needed to match them up. I also wanted to pimp them both up a bit.

The new plane was more blotchy than the first, so It kind of meant I had to clean them both up. This started by wet brushing the blue gray on both models. I also did the same with the brown. I thought the green was fine, so left it alone. I then went back over all the red white and blue and brightened up the colors. I then hit the black areas (spinner, ducts, guns) and the exhaust. I then did the canopy glass with contrast blue and redid the cage work with the blue gray.

The planes needed a few more markings, so I added these using decals. Once these had set, I sprayed them with Krylon Matt varnish. I finished up by going back over the glass canopies with gloss coat.
