Next up was the cavalry for the Spanish army in the War of Spanish Succession. Hours, dragoons and hussars. I also needed some dismounted dragoons to fit a couple of OOBs. I mount my lights on larger bases, so I did these with the cavalry.
The figures are all Blue Moon painted by Fernando in Sri Lanka. The flags are Vaubanner. They have such great groupings that do not break the bank and still look great. All figures are attached to white metal squares done in the Koenigskrieg style. As usual, all flock is attached with green paint and sealed with matt varnish.
Next up is the artillery. Here I am having the same problem I have had with the Piedmontese. I have conflicting sources on the color of the artillery carriages…. I’m leaning towards red. I guess I will sort it out in the new year…
